Howdy folks ( I promise I don't talk like that in person but since this is a "DFW" site I figured it was apropos).

I am new to this site, but not to mustangs. I recently sold my 2006 GTO :( I still miss her.

I was looking for some people who are getting together and hang out sometime. I'm in Azle specifically with a white 5.0.

Anything that doesn't require me to suck down gallons of alcohol and think we're cooler than everybody else.

Food, meets, cruises, etc.

I won't drink alcohol or go to strip clubs, but anything else is on the table.

Pypes Pype Bomb axle back. That's it. I'm not planning anything more than a tune (Bama from American Muscle) until I have the money for a procharger. BUT that'll be a little while.

This is the first female car I've ever owned...and I'm not ashamed to say I love it.

Looks just like mine when it rolled off of the lot.

I have done just a "little" work on the back. I wanted the new tail-lights from American Muscle but just didn't feel like spending the money yet; plus I had a full can of Niteshades just sitting there.

I can't wait to get a small gt spoiler and see how this looks. I also want to get the GT350 style full cover 1/4 windows. I'm going for a top half white, bottom half black look.

I started it? Nobody said a single thing... Plus I've owned more mustangs than anything else (on my third one).

Some mod obviously didnt "lighten up" and thought he'd have some fun. Not a great way to go about getting new members. I've been a part of enough forums with mods who took too many liberties with other people's posts...it's childish.

I thought this would be a cool place, but not if mods are just going to go around changing thread tiles to get their jollies.

And yes...but somebody jumped before they knew it was a self-deprecating joke. The mustang was my first "sports" car and my current one. I didn't come in here saying I had a gto and hated mustangs. It was sarcastic- I assumed the "I own a 5.0" would have made that clear.......

You're making a big deal of nothing. This is a close group of people who get a long very well and we're very active with GTG's, racing and of course friendly trash talking. If you're sensitive to it, then perhaps this isn't the place for you, but then again no board will be considering most other places are MUCH harsher and full of people who don't know one another. Nothing done here is mean spirited, it all in fun. Feel free to stay to have a good or you can go elsewhere.

Be careful with those mustangs in DFW today. Mine is "safe" under a carport right now. It just passed us (between Azle and Boyd) and headed East quickly!

Is there anybody who lives close to Azle/Lake Worth or are most of y'all further East?

We are pretty spread out all over.

There are a good number of guys in North Ft. Worth and I myself live between Ft. Worth and Arlington.

Most of my old neon guys are in the Arlington area. We used to get together at Taco Cabana off of 360 and Pioneer long time ago.

There are some cool GTO guys in my area as long as you guys don't mind me bringing some along some time.
