Horsepower tv e force tvs today...

Tivo'd horsepower tv this morning and they take a 13 and add a edelbrock e force tvs to it. Still watching, so record it if your interested, plays again tomorrow morning on spike...

Wonder why they chose to do the e-force. I don't normally like the way the kits look.

They're ugly as hell too..

Buddy of mine had one on an '06 and it made 620 with a pulley swap and around 12 lbs. Good enough to get his car well into the 10's. Not sure why they wimped out on this install, but there is a LOT left on the table on that car.

The original Bama (i.e. when Doug still owned the name) was, and is, one of the best tuners out there. When AM took over the name, well, it's just another canned tune now. The good news is, I believe Doug has done his time according the the details of the purchase, and can now tune again, legally.

That is good news. Maybe he will lay it on AM now. :D

Grandpa 04-27-2013 04:42 PM

No worries. I've got one of the best tuners around now. :D

5 lbs. is worth about around 100-125 hp, so that sounds about right.

Probably be on the same boat. :)

They are good blowers they just do not put much boost with them out of the box. Pulley them up and they perform just as good as the others.

I don't think the eForce could have as much top-end potential as others with the long runner design with equal boost to a Whipple, KenneBell, or Roush.

I would be curious to find out.. Keep in mind, the dyno they used is a load bearing dyno so the numbers will be much less then say a dyno jet. Also they just used the generic cann tune that is included with the blower kit. We have seen as much as 80 hp to the tires with our custom tune over the included tune. That is keeping everything the exact same except the tune!
