Weekly 5.0 GTG ideas?
 

Ya'll think we need a weekly GTG to get the word out for more members and to hang out?

Plano seems to be a good one on friday's. Don't know where else to meet to let other people know though.

i would come but i usually work friday nights. it sucks. what we really need to do is get business cards to pass out to cars we see when we are just out around town. it will help the club and site grow

I'm off on Fridays, but Plano is a bit far for me. Be nice to find something more central to everyone.

Carrollton or maybe grapevine but Steve lives in Wylie so that would be a drive for him. It doesn't matter for me.

I don't mind driving abit further if it helps the other guys make it out to a meet. I bought the car to drive it! :)

We could even do a once a month meet and move it around the metroplex to make it fair for everyone.

I was thinking maybe something more like Hooters or a place with a patio where we can still see the cars and hang out. lol

I need to get a good idea where everyone is so I can pick a place located in the middle for everyone and maybe call ahead to get some specials for us if there is enough of us. :)

Lewisville might be a good spot. There is Twin peaks, redneck heaven, hooters, tilted kilt, BWW, Razoo's.

The 2nd or 4th weekend is best for me cause those are the weekends I don't have my kids.

Ok, so we've decided the 4th week of the month, this is on Saturdays for lunch I assume, correct? I think if we do dinners, parking will be an issue in these crowded lots.

I know, I've been there. It seems like easy money, which it is, but when you realize how much time you spend doing it, for me, it's not worth it. My slide knee, wrist and elbow still bothers me to this day, I feel like an 80 year old man at times.
