New to DFW50s
 

Found out about this site from dfwmustangs.net. The 2011 GT is my third 5.0 (4 if I count my 92 Lincoln MK VII LSC). Started with a '93 GT that ended up being a track toy with full GR-40, then a '95 GT with IRS conversion. Sold off all the toys when the family moved from Texas to Virginia for a few years. Returned to Texas in 2010 and decided to celebrate my home coming with a 2011 GT. :)

The 2011 is primarily a DD with some mods for HPDE. Spent some time at Hallett and TWS and still have not had a chance to check out Eagle Canyon. Work and family keep getting in the way. :angels25:

I've owned a Fox, then a SN-95 Mustang, I have to say the 2011+ Mustangs are my absolute favorite. I went with a G35 6MT briefly and found it refined but boring. When Ford brought back the 5.0 with a 7,000 RPM redline, I knew it was time to be "Back in Black" (my first Mustang was a 93' black on black GT).

Spent last night picking up where Ford went cheap on the Mustangs and added a Homelink. Now I don't have to listen to the garage door remote rattling in the center console anymore.

I think 2013 (2012?) comes with Homelink in the visor? It is definitely not an option for 2011...

2012 here and i have homelink.
Is that a bottle opener on the passenger visor?

btw what part of town you live in? your pic looks like it could be near my area... I live on the corner of Allen Heights/Chapperel across the street from Parker City.
