Lisa's 2012 GT
Wife's 2012 GT premium automatic
Special ordered it and waited forever for it to show up because she wanted a very specific car. Candy Red HIDs Heated Seats Remote Start Premium package with all black leather Before it even arrived we ordered GT500 wing GT500 diffuser Rear blackout panel CS valence/fogs Roush Grill Airaid Intake JLT catchcan Tint Put all the mods on with 12 miles on the car. Runs strong. Not sure what is next. Maybe leave it alone, maybe a paxton, maybe a TVS, maybe turbos. I can't decide. I guess it depends on how Texas is. Picture from today. https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-Q...127_152455.jpg Rear valence/wing https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-v...-00-58_882.jpg https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-S...-41-17_245.jpg Local cars and coffee https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-W...317_102443.jpg |
Drag setup
https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-3...618_165641.jpg Ran the hoosiers once and it just bogged. Stock converter and that tire wasn't enough. Switched to ET streets and it is a bit better. Actually runs the best on the stock pirelli all seasons. |
Nice, throw some vette pictures up too if you haven't already.

Damn!
|
Need to swap from a 7.25" crank to an 8.0" so it can make 1000+ but I'm lazy. Also need to fix an oil leak but waiting until I move because I don't want to pull it apart then move.
|
That looks a lot like a Vette I raced on I-35 earlier this year leaving Denton's dragstrip after a RKC/Raceslip event.
But I beat that Vette, and you have 900+, so I assume it's not the same car. |
And my vette has never been to Texas so I would say that is safe to say.
|
Sexy pics unreal, both the Vette and the Stang, when are you moving to Texas again? Also keep us up to speed on the job search :)
|
As soon as I can. Should be out there next week for final on site interviews. Wife also has interviews out there. Only one of us needs a job before we move. If we don't get anything by June we will just pack up and move, but rather not do that. She can work from anywhere so she won't lose her job.
|
Just to be clear the mustang is the wife's car. She picked it out, paid for it, and paid for all the mods. She never drives it but it is her car. Has 9500 miles and about 30 are from her. I love my wife. :)
|
Very cool!
You guys have to bring both cars out to a GTG some time. My wife can drive her Mach out too after she has the baby. Would be cool to see some of the wives/GF's out at the GTG's too! |
Get the VMP blower kit! Great pics BTW.
|
If I do anything, probably a paxton but the VMP/TVS sounds good. Already got a centri on the vette so something different would be fun.
Plan is to pick up an ecoboost f150 once I get there. That will determine what goes on with the cars. |

Welcome, both are nice rides.
|
Plus my experience with PD blowers is they are rough on the rest of the car. Drive trains, transmissions, etc. All the low end torque just like to break stuff. If I was going to keep it ~550rwhp I would probably do a PD. If I want 600+ I rather do a centri just to be easier on the transmission.

That Candy Red makes me jelly. Great looking car
|
It was the only color she would take. I wanted white but she wanted the red. It looks great in person. I'm hoping for a white F150 but it maybe a matching candy red one.
|
I wanted the Race Red but got Candy. Def looking forward to 100+ degree days when the paint will really pop!
But I would still prefer grey then white then red. |
Will be there Friday for the final interviews. Hopefully things move quickly after that. They are booking the flights/etc today.

Good luck to ya both!

Land Thursday night at 8:40 staying at the Hyatt Grapevine, leave at 6 on Friday. Interviews end around 2 on Friday so I may have a few hours to burn. Anything to go check out before going back to airport?
