Car Show. 7-1-2012

"So my friend is opening a shop in Whitewright texas. Its north or Dallas about 60 miles. He purchased an old Ford dealership. We are going to have a car show on July 1st to celebrate the opening. The show starts about 12 (noon). We will have food, drinks, door prizes, and trophies for the winners of the show.

Not really close to DFW but I think I may go.

I'll go if our group does to support. I'm going to go to WalMart and see how much one of those EZup tents cost so we have a place for shade for our group. This standing around in the sun stuff is madness we don't need. lol.

After checking out the route to this place, it's actually a really nice country cruise route that my wife and I drive on a regular basis.

We could meet at Firewheel Mall and cruise straight north on Hwy 78 which almost goes straight to the show. It's a nice, quiet drive through the countryside and the roads are pretty good and not real rough.

I'm down.

I might consider this. I don't get as great of mileage as you guys, nor is my truck really "show worthy", so if someone doesn't mind me taging along, I can provide some gas money. LOL.

What time would it be over (approx.)?

I'm sure you could easily meet up with one of us to ride along. :)

this is a sunday right? if so, i'm in. I live in anna, so i'd join the cruise when it made it this far north lol.

So is there anyone that would be willing to give me a ride to the show? I live off Eastchase Pkwy & I-30 in Fort Worth, so I can pretty much meet anyone in Arlington, GP, Irving, etc.
