His attitude is the main reason why I never enjoyed going road racing with a few friends of mine. It seems the general opinion from most of the people in the pitts is that they are better drivers than everyone else on the planet. The only kind of real racing is the kind they do. Everything else is easy, blah blah

I've never met a group of people like that before. I respect every type of racing, even fucking drifting. Is it my thing, no. But road race guys aren't like that. They like to talk about how easy everything else is, of course without any real experience to back it up.

This guy just outlines the attitude of a faggoty road racer that hasn't experienced most other types of motorsports.

Exactly... the actual FAST guys like Jordon and Chris J., are cool as fuck about all types of racing. they even were bad asses in RC and carts. The ones flapping their jaws are usually trying to be bad asses when most people would smoke them at any type of racing if they even tried to.

Since drag racing is so easy, I'm sure our road racing friend has been much faster though.

What ever happened with the Fox coupe project that you bought those 325's from me for? Sounded like it was gonna be another bad ass toy.

Got tired of so many big build projects, sold the roller to a local DFW car guy. It should be running this summer.

I'm also going to sell my 93 Cobra. I just can't deal with SBF shit, and I don't want to cut the car up to put an LS in it

May I ask why?

Junkie 04-18-2014 02:59 PM

I've had well over 10 of them, never had great luck with SBF's. This motor is built to the hilt. Supposed to handle 1000+rw easily. But personally. I would love the car with road race suspension and an LS3, which I don't want to do to a nice, mint, low miles 93 Cobra….
