I plan on going to Ennis for some test runs some time in September. If you guys want to plan another Friday night trip out there say maybe the 20th or 27th, I would love to meet up with you guys.

Why not do test runs in the 1/8th somewhere closer? Since we're all gonna be out there the next week for Mustang vs Camaro.

I live in The Colony so Ennis is a drive for me too. I want to do a 1 test & tune out at Northstar and I would like to do one at a 1/4 mile track since it has been quite a while since I have done that. I might even consider Dallas Raceway if they have their act together. I didnt know if you guys made Ennis a regular event so I thought I would bring it up but I am flexible.

It is. Oct 5th. I want to get a couple of test runs in before then. I was thinking one at Northstar which is much closer to my house and 1 at 1/4 mile track either Dallas Raceway or Ennis beforehand. I have not raced a 1/4 mile track sine last year. I was thinking late September since maybe a bit cooler and the practice will still be fresh with us so close to the event. It is surprising how just not racing a month or so will throw you off.

Alright enough talking about October's crap. Who is going tomorrow night?

I worked outdoors for 10 years never missing a single day of work, rain, snow, sleet and the crazy intense heat. If I don't have to be out in the heat anymore, I ain't gonna do it! lol

The meet is at night yes it's still hot but not like it is during the day
