Hankook Ventus R-S3 in 265/35-20 and 305/35-20

While everything was apart, I had the wheels refinished too.

I'm happy so far. They are much quieter and ride better than the Nittos. And I may be crazy but these seem to have even more straightline grip than the DRs ever did. Yes, I took the stickers off before driving it.

Those look sharp. Good call.

Nope. Daily drivers don't need power.

Then why didn't you just buy a Versa or Prius? Shame on you.

blownaltered 09-24-2014 06:34 PM

I'm going to buy a window motor I have needed for months. Damn old cars

I did that last year, except I went ahead and bought the kit from LRS that had window motors, door lock actuators, tools, etc. as well as the new locks and keys. Well worth it if you're gonna be in there doing it anyways.

It's a vert so it's the quarter window motor that is bad. Everything else in my car works perfect. She is a low mile garage queen.

LOL. Shame? I bought the car that does everything I want - it stops, turns, and goes better than 95% of the cars on the road, has cold a/c, turns heads everywhere, and is a blast to drive. I don't feel shame.

Shame is that feeling your inferiority complex gives you.

It was a joke, relax. Your comment completely contradicted itself, so I sarcastically replied to it. You said you don't need power for a daily, but here you are above right here saying it stops, turns and goes better than 95%, therefor admitting a car with power is better/more fun to have. You're a gearhead, you should be thinking "too much horsepower is almost enough". :favorites37:

46Tbird 09-25-2014 01:30 PM

Not really. I like working on cars in general, but not on my daily driver. And I don't want to get on the tune merry-go-round every time I bolt something new to it.

You'd be surprised lol. Got my Koni yellows plus the eibach sport spring brand new for $600. Still in the boxes. I'd keep an eye on it if ur looking for something.

There are two different versions. For the 10-12 and 13-14. He ordered the the wrong one on accident so he had to pay twice which really sucks. I think they have a strict return policy because I know he installed them but they threw a code and he took them out. I freaken love them though. They look badass and they hug you like a glove. I guess if you were a heavy weight they might not be comfy. Also you can switch the bottoms of the seats with ur stock ones if u want to keep heated seats and stuff. I personally don't care for that stuff so I didn't bother.

NAVAG 11-27-2014 05:36 PM

Looks good! Love my targas too. Makes me worded if I should have gone anthracite instead of silver. Looks good on your car.

Thanks! Your silver ones helped me decide to buy Ryan's. I like the contrast of silver and black/anth and white. I'm still smiling about the change in the looks and the handling. Very pleased.

:lewx4: That looks sick. Comp orange has always been one of my favorite colors for the new edges, glad to see ford brought it back.

BlackStang08 11-29-2014 03:33 PM

Man, I haven't seen a color I don't like on it yet! Weird thing is I have only seen one driving on the street, but the average numer of days at the dealer is 6. You'd think they would be all over the place.

Lucky13 11-29-2014 10:12 PM

Shit yeah she does! Lol! She drives our 13 5.0 like she stole it. And it's a 6spd!

BlackStang08 11-29-2014 10:37 PM

Cool, mine can't drive manual cars.
