The mustang was no where near as low as the Z. I had to watch out for speed bumps in the Z and avoided a couple roads in Killeen (rancier area) other than that I was good. The black plastic piece under the front bumper was maybe 2 inches from the ground its made to hit the ground on occasion and I would rarely hit it on anything.

But ordering a tuner with 3 custom tunes from mpt after the meet tonight. They seem good on my buddy's ecoboost so I'm giving them a shot on my car |
Just discovered the cobra jet lowering springs. Wish ford would list the 2013 spring specs to see just how much higher the rear got over the 2010 springs

Picked up some plastidipped factory polished 18" bullitts today. Holy shit is plastidip hard to get off, looks like they only did 1-2 coats

I can tell ya if you scratch the chrome surround portion & you want to keep it, you're going to have to replace that entire panel. Blue painters tape and proper prepping are your friends when messing with abrasives and paint.

Well got my email tunes from mpt today but the sct computer program wouldn't recognize my tuner on my computer(windows 8) so my buddy is gonna try to download them on his computer(windows 7) Edit: they're on my tuner now. Just gotta make time to go pick it up |

First reaction of the tunes are the throttle is super sensitive now. Almost like an on/off switch. Hopefully I'll get used to it(only driven about 10 miles) and the shifts don't feel much different than stock(their the street setting which is 2 steps above stock)
Also I need to gain some weight lol. Sat in my buddy's fx1 pro and still had some room to move around, also they lean too far back for me. I'd need like a 80 degree seat back instead of the 71 |
First trip to the track with tune, only netted a best of 12.8@111, so basically the same time as without a tune

And the guy who did the work fixing the stang this second time is going to help me redo the plastic part of the faux gas cap so that it's smooth. Haven't decided if I wanna fill in the ford part or not |
The running pony will be a much better choise than the 3.7 badges.

Probably because of the GT fog lights then...no need to blend IMO though. To the general public, most can't tell the differene between a V6 and GT.
