How much cheaper is the maggie?

If I remember right, I think Procharger had a trade in program at one time. Don't know if they still do or not.

Matter of fact here is the jet engine. Would not recommend on a daily driver.

I forgot to add turn down your speakers at first. Then to get the real affect of how loud it really was turn the all the way up.

Yeah you hear that car from a mile away. Sad thing is you can't hear my exhaust in that video at all. That car had ported heads, cams, long tubes, off road x pipe and flowmasters and you can't hear the exhaust over the Procharger in the video.

Quite abit cheaper considering it comes with almost everything you need. The only thing it's missing is a CAI which will help it pick up some power. The guys running without it are making "ok" power. They've been working on the his CAI for awhile now. The base kit for the Roush is around 5800 bucks, but doesn't come with the extras like the Maggie does and it's a lil cheaper than that. A Roush with everything you need will run you close to 7k.

The Maggie on the Coyote is pretty much untested. I can't find much on anyone makin more than around 650rw with it. I really don't think that the Maggie gets a fair shake in the Mustang world, the Vette guys have been using them for years and they make decent power. The "big" power Vette guys usually run a Procharger, Paxton or Vortech. It seems to be a quality kit but there just doesn't seem to be a lot of support behind it. I know some people complain about it being ugly, but personally I don't care about how it looks really as long as it performs. KenneBell has been putting ugly boxed looking blowers for years and they sell like crazy. lol.

That video doesn't even come close to showing how loud it was. You were barely touching the throttle there to get into the garage. lol.

I need to go through my videos and see if I have any others. I do miss that car at times. When it was running it was fun.

Hmmm I was 100% sold on a roush but I only want to be in the 600 range anyways so if I can do it safely with the Maggie for cheaper, might have to consider

Please understand, I'm not trying to talk you IN or OUT of the Maggie or Roush. I'm just telling you what I found in my research. By all means do your research. The only for sure conclusion I can come to is that the Roush is a proven performer with a solid following to get all the tech support you need and get the performance out of it you are looking for. The same can't be said for the Maggie.

Personally, if it were possible, I'd like to get a good close look at Merlin's car and go for a ride in it to see how it compares to the Roush and Paxton cars I have ridden in. I'd also like to talk to Mike abit more about the install.

It's my understanding that the Maggie requires no cutting at all which makes me think it's running a smaller intercooler, so is heatsoak an issue? What kind of AIT's is it seeing on back to back pulls? This is what I mean about not enough support or people running it to be able to make an informed decision.

Well yeah, I figured that much... was just curious if it was rods, oil pump gears, etc.? Putting a PA on mine soon, so just curious what's breaking and at what power levels. What changes are you making? Or is that all top secret, James Bond kinda stuff?! LOL!

The concensus of adding a blower to these cars to insure longevity to the life of the motor is at the minimum to add the billet oil pump gears. Some don't and the car lives just fine at lower boost levels. There are others where the motor just eats itself on the stock ones.

As for David, nothing top secret. It's his first high powered car and the bug has bitten him pretty bad and he is just going crazy building a motor for more boost.

Yes it was a white 2011 STi that has pink lug nuts and a pink license plate that puts down a whopping 305whp/350wtq on 93. 50-140mph pull... lost by a full car length. :fuckyea:
