http://www.edmunds.com/chevrolet/cor...ub=convertible http://www.edmunds.com/ford/mustang/...tyle=200465246 That's a 373lb difference. Also including a much lower COG, far better aero, better cornering ability, IRS, better tires, the list goes on. Guessing you haven't driven a Corvette. A stock Corvette is far more a nimble car than a Mustang with all the BMR goodies possible. -Alex |

"GM lists the base Stingray at 3,298 pounds, 90 pounds more than last years model." Automobile magazine September 2013. Also keep in mind that his Garner's car is still on stock suspension IIRC. Going from a stock Corvette to a stock Mustang absolutely feels like you're in captaining a boat. My C5 was planted at all times. Getting in the Mustang with stock tires, etc was definitely a sketchy experience especially over broken pavement. It's definitely much better now though :). -Alex |
Plate is gonna stay, he doesn't wanna get in trouble with the cops. Convincing him otherwise didn't work lol
As far as boat, chevy says a 2lt non z51 weighs 3298, ford says mine weighs 3675. But my boat comment was mainly the appearance of them. Our cars are a foot longer, and about 7 inches taller; although in my pic my car looks even taller than that. |
Thats what happens when you have a backseat. LOL
