"IF" the auto performs. . I have said after driving a paddle shifter lambo, I'd drive a mustang with that setup, but American cars ate not close to that type of set up yet. If American auto could even be as good as BMW smg I'd consider it..
next. The difference Between the convertible track cars you mentioned and this? Roll bars.. All are 100% track legal, this is just selling a compromise for money.. is a mustang 2 still a mustang or a compromise? I'm sorry I believe that for some things heritage is important. If ford slapped a drop top and automatic in a new boss I'd be just as ticked.. is this a nice car? Yep. Just don't name it after a track weapon.

But Ford did slap a drop top and auto on the Cobras over there years. I didn't hear people bitching about that

A drop top on the shelby, yes. An auto ? No. But the shelby isn't a ford specified track weapon, from shelbys own words the car is designed to beat corvettes at the light.. that's been the job of the shelby mustangs. The boss or the cobra R never had a drop top or auto...

Even if this car's auto sucks, it will still eat and shit out whatever Ford throws at it. Sorry, just the facts.

Haha seriously (well this one and every other Mustang forum). Would love to have a Corvette but can't afford one. Mustangs are simple, cheap to modify and look good when done properly. Corvettes are a completely different genre but everyone wants their Mustang to outperform them. Its awesome that some people are able to achieve that but that again takes a shit ton of money.

Anyway, I'm not a convertible guy but this one is freakin' sexy as hell. Especially in that blue.
