I dont think so bro. I can barely fit one finger in his back fenderwell and i can easily get two on mine. We should measure both cars to find out for sure.

Who gives a shit? I thought this is about me and David?

STROKD 04-20-2013 12:12 AM

lol great shit talking thread. I dont know either driver, but the blower car should win... key word "should" It depends on a few factors, two of which being the power curve and how fast he can shift. dropping off boost or out of the power band is bad mkay.

you were talking about raping boosted cars on motor... so thats what I figured you were planning.

If you dont have a progressive, and a LOT of tire, you will get raped with the nitrous... it's going to hit so hard, shock the tires and away you go towards the wall... David's car will be much easier to drive since it will ramp in as the car moves forward... Ive had both setups, the blower car is easier to pedal...

Nitrous>blower.:Moon:

Luke 04-20-2013 05:06 AM

My money would be on the nitrous once it's dialed in. Y'all should post up some side by side mods for each car.

Grandpa 04-20-2013 08:21 AM

Boost>nitrous

Anyone who thinks otherwise has never had a fast street car of their own before. The only thing better than boost = boost+nitrous.

re-rx7 04-20-2013 10:00 AM

I've had plenty of fast cars. Always boosted. However nitrous is the way to go.

pohnjarker 04-20-2013 10:22 AM

nitrous is fun for a couple of hours until you run out

i'll take boost over nitrous any day.

Agreed. Worrying about bottle pressure, temps and having to make extra trips for refills gets old.

BeastStang1302 04-20-2013 10:57 AM

Setup another gtg at the track and let them settle this. There is a fast Friday next weekend, day before the all mopar show, should be alot of challengers and chargers to beat up on that Friday night too

One run and get booted? Haven't invested in a cage yet.

LOL, you won't run a number that will get you booted on a street prep night.

Dark Pony 04-20-2013 11:39 AM

You may not get booted. Tire spin = High ET's lol

Steve, do you actually believe all of the shit that you say? A lot of times I agree with your comments, you seem to be well informed about certain things. Other times I think your opinion and what you like clouds the facts in your head. We're talking about this situation and the setups that these two have, not what we prefer on our own cars.

BLK2012GT 04-20-2013 12:10 PM

I drive fast.

Midnight11 04-20-2013 12:10 PM

I'm speaking from my own experiences of having owned both nitroused and blown cars. What's with being a rude asshat? Kinda uncalled for. If you have counter points, make them, but don't be an asshole calling me out without an example or experience of your own on the matter.

That has yet to be proven. All that was proven is that I drug his ass everytime to the 1000ft mark and I missed fourth everytime. All that proved is I can't hit fourth. lol.

It may just be the fact that I'm reading posts and we're not talking in person, you just come across on a lot of your posts like you are never wrong and don't like the criticism. I've had a couple blower cars and a couple nitrous cars as well, I would hands down choose a supercharger/turbo for a DD over nitrous, refilling sucks. BUT, this was about David and Jeff's race... I'd give the edge to Jeff. And sorry guys, didn't really mean to get it off topic.

How is it critiscm if it's just lashing out without a point? You lashed out at me calling out my character, even though we agreed on the point of boost vs juice. You're not making any sense here. You're basing this all on your internet interpretations of my posts and admitted you don't know me? Really? You're not making any sense here.

IHateThisSite 04-20-2013 12:54 PM

Fight irl !!!!

Doug1227 04-20-2013 01:53 PM

I want in on this action! From a dig, at the track! Preferably Crandall. It'll be fun regardless, but I'm banking on boost plus A6! LOL! Crandall won't boot you, btw...I've run 10.8's in a convertible with no bar out there and never been looked at twice. Advisable, probably not, but doable.

But it will make for some killer mph. :yaoface2:

STROKD 04-20-2013 02:12 PM

Still think Dave's car will be faster trap speed wise which should transulate to a win if the power to weight ratios are similar... the nitrous car isn't going to hook if on anything but a slick or MT DR...

You 2 need to go to Crandal where they dont care about roll cages and tech, and do a best 2 out of 3 or 3 out of 5 showdown...

Midnight11 04-20-2013 02:49 PM

keep practicing shifting

STROKD 04-20-2013 02:52 PM

Are either cars going to need to shift to fifth? That could cause a problem for the blower car if its going through the last few hundred feet bogging...:sad72: The nitrous car will have a huge advantage here with all the torque...

I have 3.31's so I shouldn't have to.
