Im gonna say because they came out at the time I was 13-14 and I remember seeing them and sitting in one at my dads work at one time. I though they were just awesome with those polished wheels, 300hp engine and the Mystic paint. I was smitten. Although I think the mystic paint was 96 option.

2001 - bought in 2005. Had it for 6 years. Drive an Altima for a year before I got my 12
2012 - bought in Jan of 2012.

I find it crazy that some of you have owned 10+ mustangs. Must be a lot o wrecked and blow up mustangs out there.

Actual keepers... FIVE (1995 GT, 1995 GT, 1990 LX, 1991LX, 2012 GT).
However, there was a period in the early 2000's when I was flipping cars and probably went through 10 or so over a 2-3 year period.

I spent a lot of time trying to trade up. To a cleaner, faster more valueable car. Only 1 of mine ended up wrecked. That was the 82gt which was pristine. Sad to see that thing totaled.

I only listed the ones I registered and drove on a semi regular basis. I've had about 6 or 7 more that I've had in my possession. :)

Of my eleven Mustangs, none were totaled or blown-up, some dings and bruises but nothing major, and all were either traded in or sold outright, plus all were used except the last three.
