My mom used to be on the board of directors for the Texas Cichlid Association. I can probably help you locate fish and/or equipment, or help you get rid of any fish that need to go. They have auctions all the time and she works those for the group.
She has a couple of F0s and F1s from Tanganyika and Malawi (sp?) that she's real proud of. She used to have South American cichlids too but the "experts" don't mix fish from different lakes and she didn't want to keep up with all those tanks. Now that she gave up being an "expert" she has all kinds of fish in there, lol. http://www.texascichlid.org |
Freshwater ray are beautiful. I thought about not mixing but I fell in live with the parrots. Fun fish and colorful.

Motors are great rays .. A friend if mine breeds them as well as Leo's ... But at $1000 a pop ... To rich for my blood

Wow beautiful. I found some not as colorful for around 200.

Jaguar cichlids are brutally aggresive. However, Oscar's seem to be the most violent when provoked. I had an Oscar that owned a Jaguar that was larger then him. This was back when I had a 175 tall.
