Unfortunately it's not. Subpar chinese turbos and the intercooler doesnt flow enough along with a host of other issues.

Just to give you a lil example, the kit that is going on Kevin's car made well over 700rw on only 8psi and much lower inlet temps. At 12psi it knocks on the door of a 1000rw and that was through an auto. The same kit made 1249rw on Urists car and spooled MUCH quicker.

To your friends defense, his kit is MUCH cheaper but you get what you par for with turbo kits. It's especially true in regards to turbos. If all the pieces aren't designed to work together then a kit will just plain suck.

Oh, far from friends, trust me. Met him once, and he's the definition of cocky, IMO. He knows a good bit about these cars it seems though.

Is Kevin using the kit that CPSrm or whatever his name is on SVTP? Or is this the hellion twin variant kit?

It's the Hellion Twin kit. He's getting some amazing support from man John Urist himself. We talked to him at SEMA for a couple of hours going over every inch of the kit. Urist knows his stuff. I was very impressed with him. Here are several months later and Kevin picks up his kit. We thought John would have forgotten that he said he'd help out. Let's just say he's a man of his word and didn't forget anything. I'll let Kevin explain in his build thread when he gets more done. :peace:

Awesome to here.

Blue car is mine. Was the first time on the street. It has a very rough baseline tune on the 795 setting. Was going to run it like that and get some datalogs and retune on high boost. I really shouldn't have chased after he got that big of a hit, but it's all in fun. After the first race I tried to turn it up, but the tune was waaaaaaaay off. Popped and banged for a bit. Way to rich, but pulled through it eventually. Josh was cool though, said his car was making around 750rw. I just needed some datalogs really............and the datalogger messed up lol :mad:
