Selling my radar detector. Lookin to upgrade. Works great saved me numerous times. Asking 220$ might trade for O/r H or Shelby spoiler and cash.

I've got a Passport Solo2, the second generation wireless, that I'd love to get $150. But it's not as good as the 8500 X50. I look forward to seeing if you're sells.

Have you posted on CL?

No not yet just on here. Fig'd I'd give the speed guys a shot at it lol. I'm wanting the redline.

I'm not to sure on the valentine. I'd have to research it. I know that the 8500 wa best in its price range. 350$ an below.

You would think bit they haven't changed there design for sometime. Laser protection and k band lack a little.

Agreed. But they have stood the test of time and are still very comparable to the 9500 and 8500. I dont use a radar detector just because everyone in dfw speeds and most cops are using the laser, which short of a jammer is impossible to beat. Lol

I'm not trying to deter you but I think everyone should make a gd decision. Please read my link.

The link you provided compares a STI Driver to a V1. That's not a great comparison to the 8500 X50. The 8500 X50 and the STI Driver have two fundamentally different horn shapes and use different technologies.

Then have at it man. The design has not changed in 21yrs. Simply put there is a reason I won't trade. You need to get the serial number to confirm that it is a newer model.

Had a few offers i literally laughed at. Still up for grabs. $75 from some guy at work. I thought he was playing.
