I don't know shit about racing, and I have a basically stock 5.0. I would love to have fun and learn a little more about how to race! Also I just want to meet people and have just missed the last few Friday night drives.

If you show up to the friday night meet you'll be able to find some races.

It might, you wouldn't have to work nights and weekends anymore to pay for all the repairs it takes to keep it on the road.

I've put over 10k miles on my vette sence January. not 1 problem with it so far. Thats like 7k sence the cam install.
