Default questions to all D2/BC racing/megan(any 2005+ universal coilovers) owners!

been looking into getting d2/bc racing coils for my car...

but confused to say the least!

some people online say that you need to make slight modifications to fit the 2011+ stangs, while others have said it was a straight bolt on process.

I'm going to tackle the install myself, unless there is modification needed, then i'd take it out to a shop to get the install done.

so any owners want to chime in? was there any modifications needed? also, do the camber plates that come with the coilovers work well?

Thanks in advance!

As far as BC goes, there are no modifications that need to be done for them to fit. I've done quite a bit of installs on this setup, its very easy.

You get what you pay for, I will agree with this statement. I tested the BC coilovers on the boss at one of our local test tracks. Its not something I would personally use and their not the most comfortable set of coilovers for the street either.

Chinese low dollar coilovers... yep, you definitely get what you pay for here. I'm not gonna trash on them here, but I'm not ever going to recommend them, either. I've dyno'd Chinese shocks several times and it is one of the saddest things I've ever seen.

I was just browsing LMR and saw this:

Not sure how good they are, but seems to be a decent price...
