I got Sock on here with Dusold Designs to cut me a 1mm hub-centric spacer out of billit aluminum. It was very reasonable. 3mm is the max I would go without longer studs but I'd personally go longer studs anyway. I've seen quite a few guys lose wheels due to spacers. Most of the time it's racing but I wouldn't want to risk losing a wheel doing 70-80 on the highway.
