God, Steve, can you fucking read? I said I was speaking for stick cars, not 5.0s. I didn't choose the right word, but now you have gone into kill mode, so there is no hope for me.

Beefcake runs an auto.

All of those 275 guys run glides, which are basically autos. You know exactly why too.

Unless you have the resources and want to install a fully track capable suspension on the car, slicks are the easier route to go. Jeff wants his car to be both street and strip, street majority. Using slicks at the track would eliminate a lot of the suspension hassle from the equation to give him a quick, effective solution to hooking at the track. His car is not a purpose built race car that he wants to run 8s in every weekend. Therefore doing a full suspension for him outside of shocks/struts and springs would be a waste of money on his end.

There are many routes you can go for a "proper" setup.

Seriously, relax. You get wound up way too easy. You're wrong, doesn't mean you're an idiot. You're just inexperienced is all.

So I can't explain my reasoning for making the statement I made? I'm not wrong. I simply have a different opinion than you, so you think I'm wrong. DRs and slicks both work. But one is easier and more cost effective than the other to produce the goals that Jeff has for the car.

Still doesn't excuse your blatant miss of not reading the post before you posted, where I corrected my statement after a poor choice of wording.

Also, to add, no where is any of my statements did I say that DRs won't work. I simply said they won't do enough for him. Obviously he needs to upgrade many things in order to make DRs work to his advantage, where as slicks take a lot out of the equation.

Slicks this, DRs that.

Bottom line is Jeff can't beat Will's Viper(stop, roll, track, street), spray or not, slicks or not.

There, continue the pointless benchracing.

There are plenty, but I'm on a Mustang site and not going to get banned. We both know why.

If he dropped the car at Vic's house, it lost about 500 lbs AND Vic drove it on all it has, You might lose.

You know why, and are just wanting to see if you can prove me wrong again.

No stress release in the tires put too much stress on the driveline. You'd need much stronger, and likely heavier spline axles to handle the torsional stress increase, not to mention stronger gearing, obviously a stronger DS as well as better connections between everything. having a much stronger clutch wouldn't hurt either.

Will even said pretty much what I did. Is he wrong too? Or since he has more experience than I do his version is correct, and I'm still wrong?

Seriously, calm down. You're too busy trying to argue being defensive rather than having a conversation. Go take a break and come back.

Again, so I'm not allowed to explain myself? Wow, that's awesome. I'm simply explaining my reason. Didn't realize this site turned socialist and now you just have to accept when someone else tells you you're wrong even when you're not.

I'm having a perfect conversation with other people, but you nit pick at every little fucking thing. I know you like playing the roll of the big bad troll on here, but give it a rest sometimes. Conversation might go a little better if you did.

Yeah, Josh's car does a good job of putting the power down.
