eh im not sold.
Too many variables in that review. Seems they give a false sense of hope and big power gains to an otherwise stock/mild bolt on car.

Ive tested with my aeroforce and while temps slowly rise while at rest as they would with or without this heatshield, my IAT's once moving are always within +/- 2 degrees of ambient.

I usually use gold reflect tape to keep heat off things. Im in the process of doing my intake heat shield.

Attempted to install today by removing my airaid box first to wrap. Found out quickly that the hp shield will not stick for shit to plastic. I ended up giving up and reinstalled without the shield. Maybe the precut piece has some kind of special adhesive that will stick to the plastic.

We just learned from Steve at BBR that the precut pieces come with special adhesive tape to keep it from doing exactly what happened to you.
