Default Recommended Suspension Mods/Brands

Thought we could use a thread about recommended suspension mods and specific brands.

I experienced my first bad case of wheel hop last night. Enough to make the suspension stuff top of the list.

From what I've read I think I want to go with H&R SS springs, BMR adjustable Panhard and Steeda LCA's with the relo bracket.

I'll be picking up BMR 1/1.25" springs (SP009), J&M adj. aluminum panhard, and BMR LCA relo. brackets.

I have Eibach Sportline springs, Tokico D-Spec shocks and struts, GT500 strut mounts, and UPR's chrome-moly adjustable panhard bar and brace. I'm pretty happy with all of it.

It may ride a little stiff for some, but I actually think the OEM suspension is ridiculously soft.

I just put BC racing coilovers on my car with whiteline sway bars. The ride is fantastic and the handling is superb. Need to do a panhard bar and LCA's next as the rear end is still a bit sloppy.

If I win the lottery, or at least a couple grand in a scratch off, I'm getting coilovers.

Steeda ultra lites, koni yellows, adjustable panhard bar, lower control arms

With all of this, you should have 0 issues with traction given you are on a good tire.

Remember, that ANY time you lower a new mustang 05+ it is NECESSARY to purchase an adjustable panhard bar, or you will have traction, alignment, and driving issues. Without the adjustable bar, the rear end will not be centered in the car thus causing multiple issues.

X2 on the Koni yellows, they are great also check out the Fays2 Watts link instead of an adjustable panhard bar. Is good shit.

You can, but I would not recommend it. The shop we use for alignments will not align them if the rear is not centered. The same goes for lowering a car but using the stock shocks. You can, but there will be a huge difference in performance and overall driveability once a properly valved shock is added into the mixture.
