Default If your car gets banged up

[So a little over a mont ago, I was rear ended, and that made me side swipe a car that was wrecked into the wall on I35W. After calling 3 shops that friends and my insurance company recomended, I was real pissed and agrivated because they all told me they couldn't fix it account the aftermarket parts i had, and they couldnt get those parts. Then I say F__k it and called the dealership, they transferred me to their body shop " Autonation Collision" I tell this guy the story, nobody will work on my car because of the aftermarket parts that are damaged and need replaced. He says "No Problem, I can get ANYTHING, Anything you have, I can get it. And if for some reason I cant, Ican get better. Bring the car here and let us fix it"
I tell him I dont want to drive that far in the condition it is in, he said the flatbed will be ther in 30 Minutes. and it was. we go to the shop to meet Josh, he looks at the car and says no problem. Says I will like he even more when he is done.
For the last month, this guy has gone out of his way to keep me informed on what is happening, when parts arrive and sending me pictures of the progerss, He said itt might be done on Friday, but probably Monday.

Here are a couple exras going on ... I bought new speakers to replace the factory ones, also bought the saleen grille, I bought LED's for the front and rear side markers and license plate. And for $300 he is painting my rear decklid pannel and part of the hood black for me. ... And for less than factory price for over axle pipes and axle back, he got me Borla Catback over axle pipes with Borla S-type catback, 4 new 19x9 wheels.

Anyways, If you get banged up and need repairs, Call this guy Josh Baily at Autonation Collision in Fort Worth. This dude is customer service king. and from what i have seen so far, his guys do the work as if the car is theirs, like this one will be better than all the rest.

Time to post some pics, 1st one will be before the wreck, then pics after the wrecck, then picks from in the shop. Then tomorrow or Monday when she is done, I will post more pics for all to see the finished product.

That's really good to hear about Autonation's body shop service. It does not surprise me to learn what the other shops said, though. Most insurance policies specify that non-factory equipment requires a rider and extra premium to cover the replacements.

The aftermarket parts are actualy cheaper than the factory ones. The dude told me had he given the Insurance company an estimate with all factory parts, he said they might have totalled it. He even put on the estimate, that the customer requestts these specific aftermmarket parts. He said insurance companies love that cause it's cheaper.

Should be out of the paint booth today, I'lll post up more pics later.

Looks good. Lol at the rental, I always get stuck with shitty cars too, don't care to come out of pocket... especially when it's someone else's fault.
