Default Mach 1 Photoshoot - Lots of pictures!

I know I just put up a thread with a couple pictures but I had some free time today so I decided to give the Mach a nice wax and take her out for a photoshoot. Let me know what you think!

That's a sexy Mach. I wish the wife would let me mod hers more. I LOVE the way that Cobra trunk spoiler looks on there!

Just curious but why did you switch out the rear end? Road courses? Looks great I love that color.

I'm definitely not too interested in drag racing. The car is mostly used on the street but I plan to take it to some autocross events and HPDE events. I upgraded all the bushings to the FTBR kit so it should be pretty resilient for all situations - even drag racing. The difference in ride quality compared to the stick, in my opinion, is pretty staggering.

Nice, looking good. I like the straight on pic right down the shaker. That exhaust really pops out when looking at an angle.

Thanks guys!

Yeah I wish I could have found an azure blue one but with the work the previous owner had done to the engine/transmission on this car, the deal was too good. But I've come around to enjoying the beauty of DSG...dat sparkle

Yeah, I found someone to trade for the stock bumper. I really wasn't a fan of the terminator bumper, especially not having a shiny heat exchanger behind it. I felt like the stock bumper was more back to the Mach's roots. Now if I'm ever rich and come across a 99/01 front, I may be tempted, but I'm happy with how it is now.

Haha, yeah. I got those used and they were supposed to be in really good shape. They looked like they were from the pictures I was sent. Turns out they were kinda faded and one has a broken corner. I want to get some new ones but there are other priorities for now...

Don't feel bad, I once bought a "blue" truck at night under shitty lighting, come to find out in the morning it was more purple than blue. I sold it pretty quickly but I got ragged on for a while about it, it was pretty funny looking back.
