As I understand it they (local PD) simply aren't allowed to run radar on the side of the road (state trooper job) but that's it... am I wrong?

Yea your wrong. They don't do it much because why worry about it if DPS is already enforcing there. However if there is a problem with a certain area they will do something about it. DPS works most crashes on the tollways but enforcement can come from either department

Thanks for the info, I didn't know you guys could run radar on the tollway. I always imagined you guys in a pissing war with DPS like in Super Troopers, now my visual is all screwed up.... thanks a lot man! /sarcasm.

As for Friday, this time of year is hit and miss for the meet attendance wise. Only the hardcore are willing to stand out in the cold air for a meet. haha.
