Given a blank check, I would lift the body off my '14 GT, and replace it with the body of my '65 coupe. Looking at them side by side in my garage indicates it might take more than a weekend to accomplish!

68-73 ford escort or lotus cortina. Built for road course. 1.6L kent dohc engine. Be faster than alot of v8's

I'd send a current gen Mustang to Justin Starkey at VMP in Florida and have him build me a 9 second daily driver that passes inspection. He's done at least two that I know of and I'm sure there're more that I don't know about.
