Gainesville is a bit too far for a daily commute, unfortunately.

Where is it located?
I'd really like to find something with consistent hours where I can work all day. I hate sitting around in the dealership wasting time when it's quiet, I know a lot of people love just sitting around and doing nothing here but man, I wanna have stuff to do!

You'd be doing shift work, but right now most of the guys, I'm told, are working 60-70 hours a week.

Haha, yeah I've been driving from Lewisville to Gainesville every day for the past 2 1/2 years which is like 58 miles one way. I'm an engineer there though so I don't necessarily have to be there for 10 hours a day, although I do do that sometimes.

Good god that's a lot of driving... although being an engineer pays for that I bet lol..
I just need out of sales, it's frustrating and discouraging to me to work hard on a deal for a hundred bucks and see another sales person fall into a deal that make $500-600. I guess I don't like the portion of sales that comes from the luck of what your customer has for you to work with. I'd rather just bust my ass every day and get paid for my time and effort instead..

Definitely hear you on that. I interned as a salesman for Chevy for like two months in 2002. Managers berating you all the time, skin getting 4 shades darker from ALWAYS having to be outside. Income being a matter of luck. Sucks bro, good luck on everything.
