Tuning almost done!!
so, im coming home on R&R next weekend to surprise the wifey, she has no idea. i figured, why not get the car straightend out while im home.
i talked to Eric at JPC yesterday and ordered the Tial Q BOV with pipe, t-bolt clamps to replace the garbage stock paxton worm clamps, and brisk 1 step cooler spark plugs. should arrive a day or two before i get there so the wife wont be too pissed....lol.
then i talked to Tim at TS and got an appointment to get the parts above installed and a dyno tune for the next wednesday. i was going to go down to TSS because that's who Shaun at AED recommended but i cant justify the time away on R&R and from what i read here, TS tunes with the best of them. so, i'm looking forward to the new parts and tune.
im sure some of yall remember my retarded dyno pull back in May on an unfinished tune that saw 550hp before cutting it short doe to shitty a/f numbers
im hoping for around 650hp...what do yall think? i have the beefcake special paxton kit with a 3.33" pulley.

I guess it would make ~ 650 to the tire. But then since I don't have anymore info about the car other than a paxton blower with a smaller blower pulley, I can't make an informed post.

hmm....that's really the only mods except gt500 axlebacks and suspension.
SC setup is paxton blower, jlt intake, id1000, jms bap.

This.
I agree with Steve too. 590-620 HP and 490-510 FT LBS.

I think Brent Brown made 650 on his stock motor with the paxton before it gave out. I think you can expect that much on a cooler day but ya its been hot and humid as crap here lately so 650 would be a stretch.
Is you motor built or stock?

stock motor.
I think I have a smaller pulley than Brent had. Was Brent's blown motor related to the blown motor, I cant remember?

What kind of dyno?
Guy I know made over 600 whp in hot weather with around 8psi with a paxton and some bolt ons, think it was a dynojet. And then over 700 whp on the same dyno with around 12psi and some other mods

Yeah, but tuning is the key here...some guys make over 700 HP on a stock motor and never have problems, while other have 575 HP and blow a motor. While some motors are naturally stronger than others, there are far too many consistencies in bad tuning.
