I think they are 19X8 so probably 275 is the biggest.

They are 19x8.5 I would say 275 are too big. You can actually hurt traction by going with a tire that is too big for the wheel. At the very least it is a waste of money. I would go 265 at the biggest but probably a 255. Even if you got the same size tire, a better quality SUMMER tire is where the best gain is going to be from, besides going with a wider wheel. The brembo guys have 9 in wheels and they come with 255s.

I have 275/40/19's on mine with stock wheels and they are really a way better tire. I have had no problems at all.

I'm running 9.5s in the back and got a 305 to fit nicely. a 285 would fit just fine on the original wheels.

275 40's here.. 285 doesn't really fit actually. And its a 19x9 I believe.. Assuming we're talking about the Brembo pkg 19's?

I think he was referring to the standard, non-Brembo wheels.
But I've seen many people running 285/30 on the Brembo wheels....

I have no idea. My stock wheels/tires were on my car about 1900 miles. They are just sitting in plastic bags now collecting dust.

Ran 285/35's on my brembo wheels no problem. Ironically enough they were Hankook Ventus v12's.

Yup they're 275/40.. I'm annoyed bc I questioned him hard whether a 285 would work, I need it lol.. And he said no.
Oh well, my fault for not looking into it better. Hows the Ventus holding up for you?
