Which is great for a track car taking a lot of driver error out of the equation.

Wow, glad I read this thread today! I have 3577.1 miles on this car
and it has this much oil in it!!!!
Now I have to ask is it possible for this new engine to burn through that much oil in < 4k miles? Damn glad I checked and didn't attempt to drive 10,000 miles on this, seriously WTF!

My 5.0 f150 was like that after the first 5k miles. It didn't use any on the last oil change. Im coming up on 15k miles and its still good. My 5.0 mustang never used any noticeable amount. I changed it at 4k miles. Im at 7k miles and its still good.

I had the same problem when my car was brand new. I drove mine to the track when it had 300 miles on it and have been loving her roughly ever since. After the first oil change at 4k I have yet to experience the same issue. The car does not use but maybe 1/4-1/2 a quart every 4k
