We have a lot of stuff coming into us right now so it looks like we're good in that respect. My wife and youngest locked the dogs in the bathroom and ran across the street to my neighbors shelter. My oldest was in school at plaza towers elementary and she's ok as well. I have spent 8 months boots on ground in Afghanistan and my 6 year old girl has seen more traumatic shit than I have.  it breaks my heart hearing some of the stuff she says. I really want to hug her teacher when I see her. Rylee told me that she laid herself on top of her. That's a brave woman willing to sacrifice herself to save other people's children. I'm truly thankful that my whole family and my best friends (who lives right next door) family and animals all came out safely. |
