If he was there only to race, he didn't make that fact well known to either Nick or myself. If I had gone there solely for that, I would have just outright asked for the race while we were all standing there talking together. Nick and I were even talking about it while my shifter was being installed and Zeek didn't say a damn thing about it.
I think that when he saw my car getting the shifter and Nick's car making more power with his his new headers, Zeek changed his mind and left.
Btw, Nick and David, thanks for pushing me to get the shifter. It's a whole different car now rowing gears without the stock shifter!
