Old school 5.0s are the best sounding Mustangs ever with Flowmaster 40's.
Full bolt on's (h/c/I/longtubes) will typically get you around 300rw NA give or take.

They don't sound good or don't make that much.
You're wrong either way

Take into account that thing weighs a lot less than the new one and that number is still impressive. .. back then I was a chevy guy and even getting 350 horse out of my 350 and those little light fox bodies would take off so fast. . It ticked me off so bad...

If you think his car with 240hp is going to hang with the new 5.0s you are sadly mistaken. His car is lighter but not buy a bunch. If it was a coup it would be even lighter. He needs another 100 plus horsepower plus gear to keep up.

Coupes are about 25 lbs lighter than a Cobra... the Cobra was the second lightest of fox body style Mustangs.

Ok so he is a few hundred pounds lighter but that doesn't make up for 160hp and a hell of a big gearing different in the new cars. The gearing in the coyotes is ridiculous.

What are they for the Foxes. He may very well be able to keep up with my stock car and the 3.15s.
