DFW: Five Star Ford Track Day Sat Sept 7th

We're at it again!! Five Star Ford of Plano and Eagles Canyon Raceway are pleased to present Five Star Ford of Plano Open Track Day Saturday, September 7, 2013 9am-5pm. See below for event details:

WHO: FIVE STAR FOR OF PLANO
WHEN: SATURDAY, SEPT. 7, 2013
TIME: 9AM-5PM
WHO IS WELCOME: OPEN TO ALL STREET AND TRACK READY CARS!
HOW MUCH: $180/DRIVER FOR THE ENTIRE DAY
WHAT KINDS OF CARS: "RUN WHATCHA BRUNG"!
FOOD: GRILLED BURGERS, DOGS, LINKS, AND CHICKEN BREASTS
DRINKS: PLENTY OF WATER, GATORADE, AND SODA

Run group size. Due to the fact that we usually have more drivers in the novice group than instructors, we will be limiting the number of novice drivers to 20. This is being done in response to the instructor/student ratio (a little "off" last time). Doing so also ensures that the student gets adequate instruction throughout the day and plenty of track time. If you are a novice driver, I STRONGLY advise you sign up and pay as early ASAP because the novice group filled up fast for the last event.

I did this event in June and it was a blast. TONS of track time, great instructors. Very low-key, non-intimidating atmosphere. If you're looking to do your first track event, this would be a good one.

Wish I could make this. Will for sure be doing one next year once I have had a chance to upgrade to brembos and some shocks and struts

bring a helmet and ask an instructor for a ride along
....that's that's FREE too

I'll be instructing that day, I run a 2012 Mustang Boss 302 with some suspension mods

I've never been there in a car before, but I usually run that track in the advanced group on my motorcycle. I need to check my insurance policy to see if it prohibits track days or allows them if they are a "school".

there are no prizes,
there's no 1st or 2nd or 3rd place finished
this is not a timed event

We do have both classroom and for novices drivers: in car instructors
