Default (PIC's) Sonax Wheel Cleaner

As some of you already know I boiled my standard dot 4 brake fluid on my last track session. The front wheels were really dull after washing them with soap and water. Forgeline recommended that we try Sonax before looking to have them re-finished. Unfortunately the brake calipers are burned and will have to be re-powdercoated. I have since flushed the brake system and put Motul 600 in place of it.

Pics after the track session, the wheels got so hot that the center caps fell out.

Pics after washing with soap/water. Center spokes are dull.

Pic before 2nd Sonax session, the wheels are dirty from driving around town for a week or so after the 1st Sonax session.

Pic after applying Sonax, it goes on green.

Pic after waiting a few minutes and using a wheel brush to agitate. At this point Sonax is blood red.

Pic of the same wheel after I finished washing and detailing the car.

The wheels still aren't 100%, but I think they will be fine and will not require me to ship them out to get re-finished. Let me know what you think.
