Then, I got used to it and got a wrx with 265 hp. I thought damn, this thing is fast. Got used to it and wanted more. Then I got a 5.0 with 420 hp and haven't got more power hungry yet. But, I see these guys and wonder if they ever get tired of 650 to 700 horses and want more (800+). It's a freaking viscous cycle. Lol.

700-800 with good gears is really enough imo. I never got tired of driving my fox with it around 750. It could have gone on a diet, but I never cared because I liked my stereo and it was plenty fast.
I changed it up because I thought the car was eventually going to CA and it was too m'f'in loud with the supercharger. The turbos and mild turbo cam lope would have made the car a lot less obvious that it was fast. It should make a little more power than it did hopefully, went with a smaller motor because I found it cheap used, but did more work to the heads to hopefully compensate for the -40 CID I lost. If it makes 800 rw on 93 octane with no methanol help and weighs about 3200 lbs with me in the car, it should be enough to still have fun with imo.
