Ressurection Project

So I've decided to go ahead and fix my 2002 GT. Was curious about a rough estimate of what some things might cost. The car hasn't been driven/started in at least 3 years. I had all the internals replaced so I could run more boost on my single turbo setup. Still have a few exhaust pieces that "were lost" that need to be custom fabricated to fit my setup. Any ideas on the cost of that? I'm assuming all the fluids will need to be changed? Any other help, ideas, or suggestions would be much appreciated.

Replace ALL in-line filters (like fuel) and check ALL rubber hoses for dry-rot or cracking (like brake lines, radiator, power steering) - the car is 12 yrs old now and has been sitting idle.
Good Luck!

What he said for sure, and vacuum leaks are a potential and annoying to source out and fix.

I'd say first priority would be to check all things rubber or plastic and change all fluids and check for sediment.

I would go ahead and swap over to stainless steel lines for the brakes if you are at it. I am a stickler for brakes though, so a full swap of brake fluid as some people tend to think only engine fluids when doing this.

Any idea on cost of these things? Car will also need to be dynoed so I assume at least $500 without chip/programmer.

Well I'm putting the car in the shop this week to get the engine side of things finished along with a good dyno tune. Next up is bodywork if anybody knows a good body specialist that does work on the side let me know.

I don't know anyone who does bodywork on the side, but I'd recommend talking to Pat over at American Body Works in Lewisville.

Excellent thanks for the suggestion I'll look into it!
