New Wheels and Tires?

So I finally broke down and got me some new wheels and tires. Everything should be here this week. I could not find anyone selling the specific combo I wanted so I have to get everything put together. I always cringe when I take them in hoping nothing gets jacked up. Who do you trust to take them to for assembly? I got 20" wheels and tires with a TPMS kit. I will post some pics when I get it all done.

Thanks,

Greg

What size rim and what profile tire? Reverse mounts? You could probably just swap sensors, if not it'll have to be programmed...

Got my new wheels installed. John at Discount tire is the man. He did a great job mounting and balancing.

Setup is TSW Nurburgring in 20X8.5 front and 20X10 rear. Tires are Toyo Proxes 4 in 255/35 front and 295/30 rear.

Looking good Greg.

It looks really nice. I thought about going with these same wheel when I looking for it.
Any specific reason why you went with Toyos?
I'll be looking for tires myself in a few months.

Very nice Greg. Those TSWs are sure to save you a lot of unsprung weight as well as add to the aesthetics since they are single-piece forged. What suspension setup do you have? I'd love a set of Toyos as well... R888s lol.

Thanks Ryan. I love the look and it feels really light to. The rear offset is perfect with the 295's. The front is a little too much for my likeing so I orderend some 15mm hucentric spacers to bring them out a little more. I think it will be perfect then. I will take some much better pics soon.

I went with the Toyo's becuase I wanted 295/30's and didn't want to spend a fortune. There are only a few tires made in this size. They are actually decent tires to. So far they feel really good.

They are rotary forged so a little different than real forged wheels. I got a steal of a deal through American Muscle. They were on clearance and plus a discount means I only paid $250 a wheel. I just have the Ford K springs and a panhard rod. I think I lost around 6-8lbs per corner.

There are different forging processes. About three IIRC so your wheels are truthfully forged. Still way better than the typical cast construction.

Those are the exact wheels I would have gotten if not for forgestars. Looks great

I got my spacers in and I can't believe the difference it made. They are custom hubcentric and came with longer studs and the tools to remove and replace. The quality and all the tools are top notch. I think this is the prefect setup. The wheels are super flush both front and rear now. My offsets are now +24 front and +40 rear. I got some better pics and will post soon.

What were they before? My 8.5 and 9.5" wide setup has offsets of 35mm and 40mm.

Just the front changed. They went from +40 to +24 with my 5/8" spacer. The back came +40 already. They were just inside the fender a little more than I wanted. They are perfect now and I love the look. There is no rubbing anywhere. I like the more aggressive offsets.
