Painting Brembos....Opinions....

So here's an update on the Brembos. I know this won't be for everyone, but I didn't want the traditional black, red, yellow or blue, and I was looking for something that would go decent with my black car and silver wheels. I'm waiting on the black brembo decals which will be here during the week, then I have to put several coats of clear on them. This will allow me a little time to decide that I like them. I tried to place them next to the car to get an idea of how they'd look together. Let me know your opinions.

Nice!!

I think they look pretty good. I'm just trying to reassure myself that the colors look ok together. (black, silver and the gold). I went with a pretty mild gold to not look too flashy or cheap. I know red, black, blue, etc. would have matched, but I thought it was too flashy for the look I'm going for.

I think it will look great, Doug! But there's a reason the OEM Brembos come flat black - the calipers collect brake dust and are a huge pain in the ass to clean. If you can live with it, go for it! Maybe wax them every now and then so the dust is easy to wash off.

I think the gold is unusual and will look really good.

After the decals go on, I'm going to put quite a few coats of gloss clear in an attempt to make them durable and able to be cleaned hard without damaging the finish. My stockers are that silver color and they don't look too bad for wear. I guess the brembo pads are more of a carbon metallic "dirty" pad though, huh?

Yes they are much 'dirtier' than standard pads. My uncle went from a base GT to a Boss 302 LS and he bitches about the brake dust, lmao!

I think it looks great, Doug!
