Long tubes scraping

Anybody have any suggestions before I have to go back to stock height? I can't even pull into my driveway without the headers scraping. I'm thinking I may have to go back to stock height.

Dark Pony 04-14-2013 10:17 AM

Sounds like the only option, we all know no one wants to touch the headers again after they have put them on haha. Either that or go Monster truck style and take off the trunk lid and say you have a truck with a shorty bed:grd:

LOL! Only option seems to be coil overs so I can still get the stiffer spring rate or going back to stock height. I really don't want stock springs, but ATM, can't afford coil overs :-/

BBK's have no scraping issues at all, how much of a rise is your driveway?

Dark Pony 04-14-2013 11:41 AM

It's more of a steeper driveway then all my neighbors

TrueStreetMotorSports.com 04-14-2013 11:50 AM

What headers do you have?

Dark Pony 04-14-2013 11:51 AM

Dynatech

Yikes that suck man, sorry to hear after all that work you are having issues with clearance. Hope everything is resolved quickly. Let me know if you need stock springs. ;)

It's all good. I know they're quality headers and it sounds phenomenal. I can deal wit the spring issue.

Why not get motor mounts and raise the engine up

Interesting. Never thought of motor mounts...are there some that are adjustable height?
