Who loves parking lot dings? =D

-____-

Got to my car after work and saw this on the passenger side. It's about a finger's width wide and RIGHT on the line of the car...

Any suggestions of a shop where I can take it to get fixed? If it were the flat part of the door I think it'd be an easy fix. I'm in the Coppell area but doesn't really matter on shop location.

In my experience dents like that on body lines require paintwork to fix.. no pdr. Probably not what you wanted to hear.. hate people that are inconsiderate parkers :/

Yeah I was afraid of that... I might just bring it to Town East Ford.

Talk to beau Ballard. He manages a caliper collision off 635 in north Dallas. I can't remember his username on here.

So paint work never 100% matches perfectly, regardless of whether they blend into the surrounding panels or just do the door. Also aftermarket paint a lot of times doesn't last quite as long as oe.. It will cost a few hundred to redo the door. If I were you I'd probably just live with the dent.

I had a dent on the crease line of the right front wheelwell arch. Took it to the body shop of Don Davis Ford in Arlington, the PDR man took close to 2 hours to massage it back out. $80 later you can't tell where the ding was.

Thbka rriddle3, I'll give them a call.

Fargin cork suckers. I hate dings with a passion.

I do a lot of walking to park "out there". Work is the worst, if I'm too late to get an end spot, it's about a LONG walk to the west lot. Worth it to avoid a ding.

SMERF 11-30-2013 11:50 PM

Yea I'll walk a few extra steps to avoid a heart attack and $200 bill any day

Wouldn't trust anyone else...

didn't see some of the responses. Thanks for the suggestions. I think I'm going to go see Beau to see what he can do or what he thinks about it. I think the car is plagued because I had a mishap on the other door now, too. I don't think I want new things anymore, I care about them too much. haha
