I'll be there

Just signed up. Didn't realize there would be an event so close to me so if something breaks my towing bill won't be staggering :rotflmao: Hopefully can get my tune all sorted out at True Street this afternoon so I'm not stalling out on the course!

Yeah, wonder if it'll be like one run per car or what. Haha. Guess it'll be a long day.

Maybe 2 runs, and a 30-40 sec course. lol

03MachMe 03-12-2014 04:33 PM

Will likely get the normal 8 runs just a longer day

8 runs with 130 cars? Dang, that is very impressive. Must be a shorter track then?

03MachMe 03-12-2014 07:32 PM

Apparently I'm wrong. Nick said will prolly only get 3-4 runs. I'm out. Think I'll check out good guys instead

When I talked to David a couple of weeks ago, he said you have to show up at like 7 am at good guys to get a good spot in line. And that you are lucky of you get a 2nd run before they stop.

Not going to run just going to check it out

I'm doing the school on sat, and event on sun. Ran with them in no and got either 4 air 5 runs. Similar number of cars

jrj512 03-13-2014 08:03 PM

Should be 4-5 runs. Likely the latter.

Sweet, that should be enough to prove to everyone I'm a total amateur running a much too modified vehicle for my skill :D

Don't let the number of people put you off. The SCCA runs an organized event and the number of drivers adds to the variety of cars and increased competition. There will be three or four heats versus two heats at other clubs. As long as the starter can release cars every 25 seconds, then it will go quickly and smoothly.

In full disclosure, I am on the local region's SCCA Solo board.
