Non brembo car to brembo swap

Working a deal for some stock brembos off of a 13 boss. Is this a straight forward swap going from 11 non brembo car to this setup? Should I have any clearance problems with my 19x9 forgestars?

straight swap and should be good

Simple swap. Recommend stainless steel brake lines. Other than that its cake walk. Did it to my car.

Ryan (03MachMe) has done a swap before for a fellow member. Maybe he will chime in

Looking into this as well, how much are you getting them for if you dont mind me asking.

I'm getting calipers, pads, rotors, and stock lines in a trade for the corsas I have for sale. So it would be a good idea to get new SS lines and probably new fluid?

Will be doing this swap and possibly my MGW in a couple weeks and may have to get some help from you guys. That is if I don't just pay truestreet to install the MGW.

Also want to get the calipers powder coated before I put them on. Any suggestion on a company to use for this? Do I need to buy the rebuild kit for the brakes to use after they are finished?

I paid 650 for my brembos plus 200 for stainless lines. Bought mine off a 2012 gt500 with 5k miles

Id get stainless steel lines. Steeda makes a great kit. Id run some motul 660 brake fluid.

very easy swap. Recommended to get the lines like stated but not necessary. Also a good time to swap and upgrade the fluid to MOTUL DOT 5.1. If you need any help let me know. The sway should take only a couple hours. Now for the MGW I have not done one of those yet but have installed shifters on numerous 99-03s and if it is anything close that was also a breeze

Well this thread was for nothing. Guy sold the brembos out from under me today. Already had the deal finalized going to ship everything Friday morning. Oh well at least I'm not out any money or my AB.

That blows. Is he a member here? If he is, contact Nic.

Not a member here. Guy on SVTP. Not that worried about it really its just frustrating a little. Trying to work another trade for some gt500 brembos now and keeping my eyes open for something else that interest me. Still open to selling them though if a buyer comes along.
