Even the m3 was basically on par on every test with the 5.0 for about double the price

JDBishopArts 01-06-2014 05:52 PM

Welcome. You picked the slowest color.

Phuck Phace 01-06-2014 05:54 PM

It's true.

Other stereotypes -

-white cars are shop cars

-black cars are always for sale

-blue cars are only fast with drifts.

GunsUp 01-06-2014 08:18 PM

Welcome! Both cars look great

I thought those 335's made pretty impressive numbers with tune/bolt ons?

Midnight11 01-06-2014 08:26 PM

Welcome

I remember killing a blue car with drifts at the track :)

It did, I was FBO+meth and I made around 400whp and 390tq.. It was a fun car, but too much to maintain.

Black cars run 25 second 1/4 mile passes and always have CEL lights.

Disagree, but enjoy your stang. I love the turbo 6, can be made wicked fast very easily.

You didn't happen to get that used as a trade in did you?

If so, that was my GT :D

Let me know if you have any questions about it... not much was done to it but I can answer anything I can.

Yes it was!
What a coincidence, Joe was telling me you took great care of the car!

I tried to as best as I could. I took it out to Ennis once and did 3 passes, but other than that I didn't do much with it. I didn't even push it that hard at Ennis since I had 19s on it. Couldn't get any grip.

All of the maintenance was done out at North Central Ford (not that it needed much... only 9K miles).

I installed the MGW shifter myself along with the GT500s. I hope at least the shifter is still installed... It made a world of difference over the stock one. Hood struts were not what I hoped when I ordered the "stainless steel" ones, but they do their job. Added the front wheel flaps to keep the dirt/chips off the side of the car. Also removed the sound tube from the airbox since it helped quiet the sound down some inside.

Sorry about the small ding (unless they fixed it) in the driver side door under the mirror. Was at Fry's sitting in the parking lot when a downpour happened and the ass next to me left his cart by his car and backed out. Gust of wind came and blew the cart into me before I could get out and stop it.
