JDBishopArts 07-01-2013 01:07 PM

It's not our fault they are the best looking. And from the looks of things will continue to be for a while. haha

Times?

Oxford14Stang 07-01-2013 01:44 PM

Best of 8.6 spinning getting sideways in third. Which seemed like a common problem that night

Man, look at all those sandbags in the trunk of that white car...

DirtyD 07-01-2013 05:12 PM

Anyone else notice that Josh and Johnathan are basically riding ganster with their eyes barely over the dash?

JDBishopArts 07-01-2013 05:14 PM

We also ran the fastest times. Proper driving stance FTW.

Aren't you supposed to be higher than the steering wheel? I know you are supposed to scoot your seat up where you don't have to stretch to fully engage the clutch or hit the farthest gear.

Sure. Three months and 30 degrees from now.

I just realized that was my first pass ever down the track.

I sit higher than they do. You have to remember, I came from driving a truck where I could see much more in front of the car than I can in this Mustang, so I have to sit higher to feel comfortable.

46Tbird 07-01-2013 05:43 PM

I drive better when sitting low, and scooted way up into the steering wheel. It gives better control over the pedals and the shifter.

JDBishopArts 07-01-2013 07:01 PM

Yeah when I race I scoot the seat up a hair from normal driving but stay lower. I can shift better that way. ...plus I'm short so I don't have much of a choice. I usually extend my arms so my wrists rest of the top crest of the wheel.

Rebelracer568 07-01-2013 09:10 PM

I sit one to two clicks closer to steering wheel than I do from normal driving. Gets me better feel of pedals. Everyone drives different.

I not sure I agree with statement about 13-14's faster than 11-12's. my ole 12 was very quick for what she was.

re-rx7 07-02-2013 09:40 AM

I ran a 8.30 on stock tires spinning in 2nd at 89 mph.
