Built a chair over the weekend for my future MIL. Also found the neighborhood where Stephanie and I will be buying/building a house. :favorites37:

So true. I feel like this is gonna be a hot one. Although that 50+ days of 100 degree heat sucked as well a few years back. When it finally rained I remember everyone just basically sitting in it lol.

I wouldn't mind it so much if the summers didn't last so damn long here.

Amen to that!

Junkie 05-05-2014 04:13 PM

and…

around 2 weeks until RR, and we are just now starting on my car this week lol

Crimson600+HP 05-05-2014 04:18 PM

After 4 years in dorms/apartments I had enough. Tired of living on the top floor, tired of no garage, tired of hearing everyones shit. As long as I can afford it, I will either rent/own a house. Congrats on that DirtyD!

Fabbing up my radiator supports so the CSF one will fit. Should finish today or tomorrow. Gotta prep for this Texas heat!

BERT 05-05-2014 04:20 PM

Trying to figure out ways to buy another car. Patiently(not easy) waiting on Vegas in late July.

Also, been on a pretty good poker run for the past month. That's always nice.

MIL is only 5'2ish and weighs a buck-20 maybe. That chair is almost 2' wide inside the arms. lol

2011 was BRUTAL. I hope that never happens again in my lifetime...but I'm sure it will.

Thanks man. We are getting married in April, so we are trying to get a head start on the home hunt. I've been renting an apt since I moved out of UTA dorms in 2009....so needless to say I could have a LOT more money to buy a house by now...

Nice! I'm sure it will get done. You are a shop owners wet dream and no way will they want to let you down.

As for me, I got the 5.0 sold. I got my quote from Lydia and realized that I forgot headers on the list. So I need to change it up somehow to fit my Stage 1 budget somehow. :hmmm2:

Was it any type of hard letting it go?

Not at all. Don't see why it would be. Not my first Stang and certainly not the last.

Just asking out of curiosity.

Perhaps maybe if it was something rare and hard to replace I could see it being kinda hard to let go. It's a Mustang and they have made a lot of them. It doesn't hurt at all that I already replaced it with something that is really cool too. Plus, I still have another Mustang sitting here that doesn't get driven at ALL if I feel the need to go row gears or hear the roar of a Stang again.

Fonzy7189 05-05-2014 05:03 PM

I certainly have to get back to working on the 65 Stang chillin in the garage. This whole motor swap is killing the old budget.

re-rx7 05-05-2014 05:26 PM

Im looking at another Rx7 FC3s.

Congrats on the sale! That car will 100% change once you do a pulley/tune/intake/exhaust. You're going to love it

I was surprised how much oil builds up in that seperator, good buy for sure.

I dont understand why this isnt standard equipment from Ford when its easily proven how much it catches.
Its the little oversights like this that help back up my theory on the Motorcraft Oil requirement / recommendation that they try and force onto owners. (No, I do not wish to turn this into an Oil thread) :argue:

G-Mann 05-07-2014 01:07 AM
