I clearly said "music". Kidding!

My lowbie status doesn't allow me to edit polls. :perkinswhatever:

You can choose multiple answers. The choices (aside from electronica lol) would get you to a station playing most of what your interested in.

Phuck Phace 10-03-2012 12:24 PM

Rock, so is anyone else going to Hatebreed tomorrow?
Also have Deftones coming next month.

Bearded Banger 10-03-2012 12:44 PM

Hard Rock and Metal!!! I may be at Hatebreed tomorrow night. They put on a killer show!

Rock would be my go to out of that list. Although i cant deny a fine country women, so sometimes i expose myself to a little Texas country.

Grew up with 90s rock and 90s country. Have since fallen into the alternative rock and new rock scene. Heaviest rock (sound wise, not lyrics) I can tolerate is Disturbed. I listen to a lot of Outlaw/Red Dirt/Texas Country because this embodies what country music used to be. Taylor Swift can suck my .... figuratively and physically :D LOL. But really, even if I were dating her, I'd much rather listen to a CD of her singing than her real voice.

I can tolerate dubstep as well.

Grandpa 10-03-2012 02:06 PM

Not all of country music sucks. I was just jammin to Chicken Fried on the way home singing at the top of my lungs like a crazy person cruising on this gorgeous day! :D

A little piece of Chicken Fried..cold beer on a Friday night...pair of jeans that fit just right and the radio oooooooooooooooooooooooooooonnnnnnn! :D

TrueStreetTim 10-03-2012 02:35 PM

Name some favorites and I'll make sure their in the Dyno Day mix!

Older Metallica (Black album and older)
Alice In Chains
STP
U2

TrueStreetTim 10-03-2012 03:19 PM

Steve, as a DM fan you might like Dommin.

Bearded Banger 10-03-2012 03:30 PM

Godsmack
Staind
Slipknot
Lamb of God
Chimaira
All That Remains
Devildriver
Down
Alice in Chains
Pan Fucking Tera! RIP Dime!

Phuck Phace 10-03-2012 04:00 PM

I concur, Pantera is very necessary, maybe throw in some Avenged Sevenfold too.

I just tried watching several of their videos, it's okay, but not something I'd listen to regularly.

I could never get into Pantera at all. The only one song of theirs I liked was a cover they did of Planet Caravan.

DirtyD 10-03-2012 04:48 PM

Old Linkin Park (pre-Transformers) is better than new Linkin Park. But their newest album Living Things isn't bad. It's like the remade Meteroa with the new edge feel plus a little bit of Mike Shinoda's Fort Minor influence.

Yeah I think you have to have a certain taste for them. But their the only guys out there I know of that keep a bit of that style alive. Their cover of Cutting Crews "I Just (died in your arms tonight)", is 100% superior to the original.
