But I'm such a liar about mods being on hold. Saw sublime302's car and think I might do the opposite scheme of his(white wheels on green car, yes I know they'll get filthy easily) with either my current wheels or the 20" niche gt-5 I saw on svtp. Anybody know how much they weigh?

Then a buddy talked me into looking at the h&r supersport springs again. Also think I might sand down the GT on the faux fuel cap(instead of having to buy a whole v6 panel) then repaint or redip it

Don't worry about rubbing or being "too low" Look at the front of my old c5z

Wow that's low! You had it in this area?

But it was actually your current stang on the race springs that worried me

The mustang was no where near as low as the Z. I had to watch out for speed bumps in the Z and avoided a couple roads in Killeen (rancier area) other than that I was good. The black plastic piece under the front bumper was maybe 2 inches from the ground its made to hit the ground on occasion and I would rarely hit it on anything.

Now to convince myself springs are worth the cost lol

But ordering a tuner with 3 custom tunes from mpt after the meet tonight. They seem good on my buddy's ecoboost so I'm giving them a shot on my car

Just discovered the cobra jet lowering springs. Wish ford would list the 2013 spring specs to see just how much higher the rear got over the 2010 springs

Picked up some plastidipped factory polished 18" bullitts today. Holy shit is plastidip hard to get off, looks like they only did 1-2 coats

And installing a sct strategy tune as I type this until mpt sends my custom tune

That looks rough what happened

I'm sanding it till it's mostly smooth. Then I'll add some filler till the whole cap is smooth and paint it gloss black

Fix it quick. That looks like poo.

Eh it's going back into the body shop soon anyways cause a chick hit me yesterday. I'll probably just have them finish it

Crimson600+HP 02-05-2014 01:18 AM

I can tell ya if you scratch the chrome surround portion & you want to keep it, you're going to have to replace that entire panel. Blue painters tape and proper prepping are your friends when messing with abrasives and paint.

No luck lol. She ran a stop sign at school

Man that sucks. I think the horrible luck train is running around Killeen/Harker Heights/Copperas Cove recently and its killing Mustangs & their owners.
